Psalm 19:8-14

Ask God to use his Word to revive us: 'The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul' (verse 8).

Ask God to give us wisdom: 'the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple' (verse 8).

Pray for joy as we read the Bible: 'the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart' (verse 9).

Thank God for giving us insight: 'the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes' (verse 9).

Praise God for enabling us to live holy lives: 'the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether' (verse 9).

Give thanks for the riches of the Bible: 'More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold' (verse 10).

Ask God for a sweet taste today from God's Word: 'sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb' (verse 10).

Thank God for warning us: 'Moreover, by them is your servant warned' (verse 11).

Remember the benefits that come from obedience: 'in keeping them there is great reward' (verse 11).

As God to search our hearts: 'Who can discern his errors? (verse 12).

Ask God to keep us: 'Declare me innocent from hidden faults. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression' (verses 12-13).

Pray that God will listen to us: 'Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight' (verse 14).

Thank God for rescuing us: 'O LORD, my rock and my redeemer' (verse 14).
